Managing GXBank App Access Across Devices

To ensure the security of your GXBank account and personal information, the app can only be accessed on one device at a time. Follow the instructions below to manage device registration, maintain account security, and resolve issues if you need to switch devices.

How to Switch Devices

If you want to access the GXBank app on a new device, you’ll need to remove your account from the old device. Here's how:

Step-by-Step Guide:
  1. On Your Original Device:
    • Open the GXBank app.
    • Tap "Me" > "Remove account from device."
       
  2. On Your New Device:
  • Log into the GXBank app.
  • Verify your identity:
    • Enter your phone number and bank PIN.
    • Complete additional verification by taking a selfie.
  • Once verification is successful, your new device will be bound to your GX Savings Account.

Push Notification Alerts

When you attempt to log in on a new device, a push notification will be sent to your original device, informing you of the login attempt. This ensures you stay informed of any activity on your account.

What If You Don’t Have Your Original Device?

If you can’t access your original device or face issues during the de-registration process:

  • Call us, and our GX Buddy will assist you in removing your registered device.

12-Hour Cooling-Off Period

For added security, there is a 12-hour cooling-off period after re-binding your account to a new device.

  • During this time, you will not be able to perform any outgoing transactions.
  • This measure helps prevent unauthorized access and transactions.
