My attempted initial deposit fund transfer to my GX Account was rejected. Why?

A minimum initial deposit of RM20 is required from your own bank account in your name (a first party fund transfer). If the funds are from a third-party account, the amount will be refunded back to the originating account within 5 business days.

Here is an example of a first-party fund transfer:

• Accountholder Name (Bank ABC): John Bin Joe
• Name (as per MyKad): John Bin Joe

Please also ensure that your fund transfer is performed via GXBank app, and not through any third-party banking platform directly. Follow these steps to complete the transfer:

1. Login to your GXBank app.
2. On the home page, tap on “Add Money” and select your preferred bank.
3. You will be directed to the bank's login page. Follow the provided instructions to successfully complete the funding for your GX Savings Account.
