Can I register for DuitNow with my GX Account if both my mobile number and NRIC are registered with another bank?
Certainly! You can register for DuitNow with your GX Account, even if your mobile number and NRIC are registered with another bank, as long as the proxy (mobile number and/or NRIC) with the other bank is in active status.
Here's how you can register for DuitNow with GX Account:
- Login to the GXBank app and tap on "Me" on the Home screen.
- Go to "Manage DuitNow ID".
- Select the proxy (mobile number and/or NRIC) that you want to use to register DuitNow with GXBank and press "Confirm".
- Once the registration is successful, you will receive a notification.
It's important to ensure that the mobile number that you try to register Duitnow with GX Account is the same mobile number that you use to open the GX Account. You'll not be able to register your mobile number with GXBank using a different mobile number.
If you change your mobile number, your DuitNow registration with GXBank will automatically be deregistered. In such cases, you will need to opt-in again and follow the steps mentioned above.
