What is Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC)?

Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) is a convenient service available for certain Overseas Transactions with your GX Card. It's provided by specific overseas Merchants and ATMs. With DCC, you have the choice to convert your transaction from the foreign currency into Ringgit Malaysia right at the point of payment or cash withdrawal.

Here's how it works: When you use DCC, the conversion rate applied to your transaction is set by the relevant overseas Merchant or ATM. However, it's important to be aware that the conversion rate used with DCC, where the payment or withdrawal is made in Ringgit Malaysia, could be higher than the conversion rate determined by Mastercard when the transaction is conducted in the foreign currency.

It's important to remember that using DCC is entirely optional, and you can choose whether or not to use this service for your Overseas Transactions.
