How to prevent my GX Account from dormancy/closure?

If you have linked your DuitNow ID, either with NRIC or mobile number, to your bank account with another licensed bank:

• If you have 12 months from the account opening date to perform your first fund-in. No minimum deposit.
• If you have to perform at least one transaction (i.e, deposits or withdrawals) within this period.
• If you did not fund-in within this period, your GX Account will turn dormant.

If you have not registered for DuitNow, or if your DuitNow ID is linked to an e-wallet account.

• You have 12 months from the account opening date to perform your first fund-in of a minimum initial deposit of RM10 from your own bank account in your name (a first party fund transfer).
• You have to perform at least one transaction (i.e, deposits or withdrawals) within this period.
• If you did not fund-in within this period, your GX Account will be closed by the Bank.
