Do I need to make a minimum deposit to open a GX Account?

If you're registered for DuitNow, which enables you to receive money to your bank account using your DuitNow ID, such as a mobile number or MyKad, there's no need for a minimum initial deposit to open a GX Account. After opening the account, simply make a deposit transaction within 365 days to prevent account from turning dormant. It can be from your own account or any third-party account at any bank in Malaysia. If you haven't registered for DuitNow, or if your DuitNow ID is linked to an e-wallet account, a minimum initial deposit of RM10 is required from your own bank account in your name (a first party fund transfer).
