Why is malware dangerous and how do I remove the malware(s)?

 

Malware installed on your device can potentially steal your personal information and take control of your device to make fraudulent banking transactions without your consent. This is why, access to your GXBank app is being restricted, when malware(s) are detected.

To continue using your GXBank app, you’ll need to remove these malware(s).

Here are the steps to remove the identified apps

For Android phone users:

  1. Tap and hold on the app icon
  2. Drag the app icon to the ‘uninstall’ section at the top of the screen.
  3. If you don’t see an ‘uninstall’ option, go to app info’ and tap on ‘uninstall’.
  4. Tap OK when the uninstall confirmation pops up.

To remove the app from your settings :

  1. Go to your phone's settings and tap apps.
  2. Select the app you want to remove.
  3. An option to disable or uninstall the app will appear at the bottom of the screen. Select the appropriate option and confirm the removal.
